The top 10 Places to get NON-ALCOHOLIC Drinks in Bozeman

Dry January has a way of shining a light on something many of us already know. You do not need alcohol to have a thoughtful, elevated, genuinely enjoyable drink experience.

I am over four years alcohol free, and if I am being honest, one of the quiet joys of that decision has been discovering which restaurants truly care about their nonalcoholic offerings. There is a noticeable difference between being handed a Shirley Temple and being handed a drink that was crafted with the same intention as every cocktail on the menu.

When I was running beverage programs years ago, I created my first dedicated N/A menu simply because it was something I personally loved to see, and I thought Bozeman was really missing at the time. What happened next surprised me. Those drinks quickly began competing with our top sellers, and I would hear genuine thanks from guests who were choosing not to drink and still felt like they were being offered something beautiful and intentional, just like everyone else at the table. The demand was there long before the industry caught up, and now it is finally becoming a normal, expected part of restaurant menus around town.

Now, there is a huge wave of non-drinkers, sober curious folks, pregnant diners, designated drivers, athletes, and people who simply do not want alcohol on a Tuesday. Gone are the days when asking for a mocktail meant something sugary and juvenile. Adults want balance, complexity, and choice. Thankfully, many Bozeman restaurants are listening.

Here are my favorite places in Bozeman to find genuinely good mocktails and non-alcoholic beverages, whether you are doing Dry January or just living your life alcohol free.

Single Barrel

Single Barrel keeps it simple, and that is not a bad thing. They offer a small selection of straightforward mocktails that feel intentional rather than like an afterthought. If you are craving something clean, refreshing, and unfussy while still getting the full Single Barrel experience, this is a solid option.

Why it works: Not everything needs to be complicated. Sometimes simple and well executed is exactly right.

Copper Whiskey Bar & Grill

Copper does mocktails the way I wish more places would. They offer genuinely crafted, seasonal nonalcoholic cocktails made without N/A spirits. Fresh ingredients, thoughtful flavor combinations, and drinks that stand on their own instead of trying to imitate alcohol.

Why it works: These drinks feel grown up, balanced, and intentional. You never feel like you are ordering from a consolation menu.

Tanglewood

If you want options, Tanglewood is hard to beat. They have an extensive nonalcoholic section that includes N/A wine, beer, and craft mocktails. This is the kind of menu that makes nondrinkers feel fully included at the table.

Why it works: Variety matters. Tanglewood treats nonalcoholic beverages with the same respect as their full bar program.

Montana Ale Works

Montana Ale Works offers elevated soft drinks alongside a few staple nonalcoholic cocktails. While the list is not massive, what they do offer feels thoughtful and well suited to their food and atmosphere.

Why it works: Familiar, approachable, and done well. Perfect for a casual dinner or group outing.

Stockman’s Bar

Stockman’s offers nonalcoholic versions of their classic cocktail list, which means you do not have to miss out on the experience they are known for. The flavors are recognizable and comforting, just without the alcohol.

Why it works: Consistency. You get the same vibe and flavor profiles as their signature drinks.

The Armory Venues - Fielding’s, Tune Up, and Sky Shed

The Armory group has fully embraced zero proof cocktails, using Seedlip spirits to create elevated nonalcoholic drinks that feel polished and modern. Whether you are at Fielding’s, catching a show at Tune Up, or taking in the view at Sky Shed, there is something well-crafted on the menu.

Why it works: Zero proof cocktails that feel intentional, not like an afterthought.

Bacchus Pub

Bacchus Pub has some of the most creative nonalcoholic options in town. Side note, their beverage program has evolved significantly over the past few years, and I genuinely love seeing that growth. It is clear they are paying attention to what diners want.

Why it works: Creativity and progress. This is what it looks like when a restaurant listens and adapts.

Devil’s Toboggan

Devil’s Toboggan offers a small selection of no ABV cocktails. Even if the menu is limited, the drinks are solid, and if nothing else, you go for the vibes.

Why it works: Atmosphere plus a few reliable alcohol-free options go a long way.

Plonk Wine Bar

Plonk offers nonalcoholic recreations of some of their most iconic menu staples, along with original zero proof options. It is a refreshing experience to sit at a wine bar and feel fully considered as a non-drinker.

Why it works: Thoughtful adaptations and original drinks that stand on their own.

Why This Matters

Nonalcoholic beverages are not a trend. They are a reflection of how more and more people want to live now. More balance. More choice. More intention.

For those of us who are alcohol free, sober curious, or simply taking a break, being able to order a drink that feels just as special as everyone else’s matters more than some restaurants realize. And for the places that are doing it well, it shows.

If you are participating in Dry January, exploring sobriety, or just curious about what Bozeman has to offer beyond alcohol, I hope this list helps you feel seen and well served.

And if you have a favorite spot I missed or are wanting to connect with a fellow sober professional, I'd love to chat with you!
